Inés Terra
(Buenos Aires – Argentina, 1985)
Argentinian/Brazilian musician and researcher. She currently holds a master’s degree in musical creation processes at ECA (São Paulo University) and acts as a vocal performer in spaces linked to contemporary music and free improvisation. In Argentina, she performed at the National Rádio, at Scala de San Telmo, at Manuel de Falla conservatory, among others. In Brazil she performed at the Bigorna Festival; Dissonantes project; São Paulo Cultural Center, Sesc Belenzinho, theatres and other spaces of the Campinas University, Virada Cultural Paulista, Tomie Ohtake Institute, among others. She has participated in an artistic residence at the Dance Reference Center of São Paulo with the Corvo project and she created the Voracidadesproject as a resident in Sesc Itaquera. She was an art educator at Programa Vocacional, a public program of policies on arts in São Paulo city . She participates in the free improvisation Orchestra Orquestra Errante and develops a solo work, also collaborating with other projects and artists.

The voice is the heart of my work: to look for vanishing points in voice possibilities in creative processes. Is not about escaping from body´s materiality, but to sculpt other bodies from the voices. My artistic research transits between the voice in improvisation and in contemporary composition and between performance and dance.
